Riding the Socom in the Alps |

I've been riding the Socom in the Alps for the first time. I have ridden the Socom a lot now since development last year but have been keen to get out on it in Les Get / Morzine as i have been coming to ride here for many years and know the lots of varied DHs and how harsh they can be with tons of braking bumps and technical as well as high speed tracks. The Socom is perfect and has rode just like I had hoped. Handles all the high speed stuff like a DH bike, but rides really light also for the tracks with jumps and technical stuff. It is easier to throw around and gets up to speed so quickly, i find myself being able to do more runs as the bike seems to not drain your energy so much. |

After her winning performance in the Mom Avalanche last year, Tahnée is the image of main page for the Mom Avalanche series on the new Avalanche Trophy website this year. If you look in the top left hand corner at http://www.avalanchetrophy.com/mom-avalanche.html you will see her in the final parts of the race in Les Arcs.
